Feed Barley, has been attracted FAO (THE Food and Agriculture organization)'s attention recently because of its rising cost. And FAO is willing to assisting in solving this problem.

The officials for Primary Industries said they held successful discussions with FAO Director General Jacques in Thailand several days ago and assured that once the standard or principle set out by FAO were met by the ministry, the world body will render the assistance immediately.

He also said that with the supported funding, the ministry could undertake projects to experiment with formulations, feed barley would be supplemented and expenditure cut down.

They declared they need to address the issue of rising cottonseeds'cost and will be seeking help in programs that allow us to take scientific measures to improve the development of feed barley.
